I’m ready to seam up my bobblicious (link in my signature) - this is my first experience having knit something where the reverse st is the public side - what type of seaming technique should I use for this??
Thanks for any thoughts:)

…and…assuming i find an appropriate way to seam reverse stockinette, is a bulky weight yarn too thick to seam with? should i get embroidery thread or something instead??
i can’t believe such a simple pattern is causing all these finishing issues for me… i guess that’s why i normally knit everything in the round
I believe you need to do mattress, but pick up the lower purl loop on one side and the upper purl loop on the other.
thanks ingrid - any thoughts on yarn thickness?
The yarn is hidden with mattress, but I’m not positive how bulky would look. Since the stitches are bulky it may be fine. Worth a try, anyway. I think embroidery thread might pull the stitches to tightly together.
fyi - the bulky yarn worked just fine - a thick seam, but it’s a thick garment…
