What to make with this yarn?

I got some lovely yarn in a yarn swap but i am not sure what to do with it.

It is Patons Orient in shade olive (a most delicious green, my swap partner did good ) http://www.purplelindacrafts.co.uk/patons-orient-lustrous-sheen-dk-yarn-olive-green-07-816-p.asp

I got two balls of it so aprox 300m total.
it is 22 st/30 rows per 4inches on 4mm needles

It has a lovely sheen to it, and is very soft to touch.
i just don’t know what to make with it. im not realy a scarf person (except for a multi coloured thick wool scarf for when it gets realy cold) and it seams to special for socks, especially when i am addicted to DMs

any ideas for this lovely yarn … it deserves more than sitting in my stash box.

I looked on Ravelry to see what people were doing with it and saw 7 projects, mainly crochet! But with just the couple of balls, there were purses (Fat Bottom Bag) and some fingerless mitts.

I think it would make a beautiful, lacy shawl… though I have no clue if 2 balls would be enough, its Patons though, so it can’t be too pricey to buy another ball or two if necessary.

A nice scarf… I know that’s bit lame, but I like to make scarves…

Oh I’m sure you won’t like working with that yarn. Save yourself the aggravation and just send it to me.

A scarf would look so pretty in that yarn x

:teehee: no no, i’ll be brave and give it a go. thanks for your concern. but if it ever were to end up in your mits, what would you do with it?
