Someone gave my mom all this yarn to “give to heather”. There are 11 and a half balls of it in here. It’s a pastel cross between blue and green. Mom seems to have her heart set on me making something out of the yarn for my sister’s upcoming baby. I’ve already made my sister a blanket and a baby jacket. I’m not sure what can be make with this. It’s sport weight but it looks bulkier than that to me.
It’s mostly acrylic, so something lace is out of the question, I think. It’s 93% “So-lara acrylic” and 7% Memorelle Nylon.
I would check out the free pattern from KP called . Day at the Beach Cover-up. I just received my Twist yarn and it looks about the same gauge as your Sassy.
ugh. I just talked to mom and she wanted me to make the changing mat bag from the Debbie Bliss essential baby book. This yarn definitely won’t work for that. The changing bag needs cotton yarn. This gifted yarn is not substantial enough for that.
