I was making a shawl for my brothers wedding, but I never finished in time (and it turned out to be a warm weekend so I didn’t need it anyways!)

You could always were it on a night out in the cooler months. It’s too gorgeous to frog!
Gosh, finish it since you are so close. You could gift it or keep it handy for cool eves at home. It is really pretty.
I must respectfully disagree with the other answers. If you know you’re not going to use it, by all means, use the yarn for something else.
I agree. It may be beautiful and you may be almost done. But if you know for a fact that you will never use it, I would use the yarn for something else that you would use. You would get much more enjoyment out of something you can use than finishing something just to have it sit there.
If you are [B][U]sure[/U][/B] you will never use it, frog. However, I would personally finish it - you can alway wrap it around yourself on a cool night, even if you are just at home!

It looks great so far, finish it if there’s a chance you’ll wear it or can gift it. But if you know it’ll never be used, frog it and use the yarn for something that will be. It’s ultimately your call.
It’s very pretty and I love the color. I would just continue on finishing it.

I think "frog it"means unpick - right? In any case, I would finish it - its gorgeous & if you don’t use it you colud put it on ebay. Or send it to me!!

when I can’t finish any work im doing (i mean handmade), I just think abt the very beginning when I just started to knit it and was very excited, wanted to finish it as fast as possible. And also I imagine myself wearing the knitted thing and just start to finish it 
Besides your design is so lacy I don’t think it will be hot in it even at summer evenings
