You can insert a lifeline/destination row, if I’m understanding your dilemma correctly.
Either put a long circ through all the stitches on the row you want to recover and then frog down to it, or use a tapestry needle and contrasing color yarn to thread through that row. Amy has video in the Basic Techniques/more section.
You can also unravel to the row above the one you want to correct and then pull the sts out one by one while putting them back on the needle.
