What to do in Sonoma CA

Hi everyone :muah: I posted a a few weeks ago about what to do in California, well the time is getting close any other ideas? I love flea markets, wine tasting and yarn shops (and of course visiting relatives  ) Thanks everyone out there in California!!! P.S. Staying in Novato :happydance:

I was out that way in February. I had a nice time at Sebastiani winery and went to a lovely store called The Knitterly in Petaluma. If you are in San Francisco, Imagiknit and Art Fibers are places worth a visit.

I googled and found a few links. I haven’t been there in years, but I remember it as being beautiful!

I am not sure if you went back and read the old topic, but I posted about a neat yarn store that I went into, that is close to a good candy store. Also, posted some links that I found online for knitting resources in the area.

The sonoma cheese shop right on the square is YUMMY! You can try most of their stuff and get sandwiches etc. for picnicking at the wineries.

Oh!! I love Sonoma!! I haven’t been there for several years, but I agree with Kemp re: the cheese shop. There are lots of great restaurants all throughout the valley, and most of the wineries are a lot of fun to visit. I think we’ve hit most of them on one or another trip. We found one hidden back in the Russian River Valley at one point, and ARGH I can’t remember the name of it. It was in an old grainery tucked back in the mountains.

Have a GREAT time!!!
