What to do if I followed the pattern and still need to increase 4 stitches, but am al

I need to still increase 4 stitches but am already at the 5 inch length for my sleeve. I’m knitting a Debbie Bliss baby sweater. I was to increase from 25 to 47 stitches. The first increase occurred 3 rows after I finished the seed stitch and then it said every following 4th row. I did that, am now at 43 stitches but am already at 5 inches long which is how long the sleeve is supposed to be. My gauge seems correct.

Any suggestions?

You could increase one more time, then do what you’re supposed to at 5". Baby sleeves can be turned up, they’ll be able to wear them longer that way.

I’d just do one more row and add all 4 stitches otherwise your sleeve will be really long.

Sounds like a good idea. Actually I pulled out the whole sleeve. It didn’t take me that long to do. So my gauge was slightly too big so maybe I’ll get to 45 this time then I’ll do what you said and just add the last 2 stitches. And youre right about rolling the sleeve if necessary.
