Hi everyone. I want to start a new project with some beautiful yarn that was given to me by LadyM. Trouble is it’s in a skein, never knitted from a skein before, always been a ball… what do i do…it’s getting all tangled…HELP :hair:
Sounds like you got a hank that you need to roll into a ball. loop it over a chair back or have someone hold it between their hands while you roll it into a ball. Don’t roll it really tight or you risk stretching the yarn. Good luck!
If you want to wind a center pull ball there are directions here in the videos. It’s very easy and I use it all the time.
