What size to make?

What size should I make for the “Keep on Truckin” knitted cardigan pattern, by Elizabeth smith knits , for a baby born in May?

Be generous. Babies grow so fast. And here, we are headed into summer. The sweater will probably be appreciated more in autumn.

This is too cute! I wouldn’t make anything smaller than 6 mos size. Babies grow fast.

My baby boy is now a trucker. I need to figure out how to use the truck motif on something for him.

It is so cute And , I’m thinking, that even this coming Fall, it’s not worth putting the work into this . Babies 7 months old don’t really wear sweaters .

How about making him a blanket and putting the truck motif on it ?

For a baby born at first of year(a year ago) I knitted an 18 month size and gifted this past Xmas. Worked out perfectly with room to grow.

when it comes to sizing for that “Keep on Truckin” knitted cardigan pattern by Elizabeth Smith Knits, it all depends on how big that little bundle of joy is gonna be in May.

If you’re expecting a big ol’ bruiser of a baby, you might wanna go for the larger size. But if you think your wee one’s gonna be on the smaller side, maybe stick to the smaller size. And don’t forget, babies grow like weeds, so you might wanna take that into account too.
