What size sock needles do you prefer?

I’m knitting my 7th pair of socks, just now on the first cuff (did almost 4 inches now in a k1p1 rib. I’m using 4 needles.

I used size 3.25 needles for a change…before I used 2.75. They feel easier to hold in my fingers, but the cuff is looking kind of big and clunky…

so, just wondering: if you’re a sock knitter what size needles do you prefer?

I use a US 1 for sock weight yarn. Sock made with smaller needles last longer I’ve heard, too.

I use circulars and size 1 and sometimes 0

I usually use 1 or 2.
