Hi everyone:
I’m going to make a chemo cap for my aunt off the headhuggers web site (www.headhuggers.org) and the pattern calls for a size 9 circ needle and then 9 dpns. What size cable do I buy for the size 9 circs? I know they come in all different lengths. Do I buy the shortest ones I can find? The pattern says to CO 60 stitches.

16 inch circs are best for a hat. are you looking at buying an entire set or to find a cable for an interchangeable set? Boye doesn’t make a cable for an interchangeable that would work…Denise’s is 17 inch which i think works for MOST but not all…dont think options has one either…

Neither actually! I’m just looking to buy the needles themselves. I eventually want to get an interchangable set of the Knit Options probably, but I’m not in the market for them right now. Maybe someone will get them for me for Christmas!
Do most needle companies make a 16" cable needle? I usually use Clover bamboo needles, but not always. What do you suggest? Should I just use dpns instead?

i think all my 16 inch are addis that i bought online. i couldn’t find many others in the stores. i am not a DPN type of girl since most of my stuff has to be portable and i worry about them falling out. I tend towards 2 circs and just get a couple of longer ones. I had a hard time finding 16 inch in the Hobby Lobby type stores locally so i turned to ebay!
