Look what I got today :cheering:
Now I need ideas what can I knit with it??
There are two balls of each
I bet you all have loads of ideas.
Unfortunately all I can think of is the ‘dreaded scar’ I am fed up with scarfs lol.
Please let the ideas roll in. Its so soft and lovely. I have given it a cuddle already :roflhard:
Thanks in advance :notworthy:
Sharon
A bag sounds like a fab idea. Any ideas which one. I look at these patterns available and I cant choose.
What do you think?
Sharon
What is the yarn content? If it’s not an animal fiber (wool, etc.) it won’t felt, so you’d be making a non-felted bag. That should help narrow choices down some.
hi its 47% wool 6% kid mohair 6% polyamide
Does that help any :??
Thanks for answering me
Sharon
OK, it should felt some, but now I need to know if you WANT to felt! :teehee:
What about this one from knitty?
http://knitty.com/ISSUEfall06/PATTlittleslip.html
It even uses 2 colors.
I would LOVE to felt. :cheering:
I will look at the pattern. I may need help with the felting.
Sharon
Oh that looks hard
What about an easy shrug?
Sharon
I didn’t mean to scare you! Sorry!
This is a link to a Knitty Gritty episode where they knit rectangles and sew them together in different ways to make shrugs and ponchos.
3-way Rectangles
That sounds more like it :happydance:
I tried the link but I couldnt actually see the 3 rectangle thingy
I feel so stupid sometimes
Sharon
Thanks again you are an angel
What about a poncho?? a hat???
Wow I have never been to Knitty before. This is going to keep me going for weeks :roflhard: :cheering:
Would there be enough for a poncho??
