What is your favorite yarn?

My all-time favorite for generic knitting is Premier Puzzle yarn. However, for socks I love Lion Brand Pound of Love and the Red Heart Unforgettable.

I use Jamieson & Smith 2 ply lace weight for my miniatures, I just wish there were more colours! I really like Rico yarns and Sirdar, too.

I love Knit Picks Hawthorne and Stroll, but I also don’t have a lot of experience with other yarn so I’d take that with a grain of salt.

I’m planning to order Red Heart yarn to begin with. Would you say that’s a good choice?

Red Heart is pretty good, most of what I’ve used was soft but relatively durable. I like their colour ranges a lot.

@zoey141 Yes, Red Heart is reliable. It is sturdy and durable and they have some great color options. I used that for years, before branching out.
