What have I done??

I started a scarf just over a year ago now and for one reason or another had to leave it for a very long time. I’m trying to come back to it now but I stupidly did not write down anywhere the pattern I was following as it seemed quite simple to me at the time. I now can’t remember or work out what is going on. Can anyone help? I’ve attached pictures so you can see the cable I was attempting. Fingers crossed! Would hate to have to restart from scratch.

That stitch pattern is commonly called a basket cable, sometimes a basketweave cable. Can’t tell if your cables are two or three stitches wide, but here are directions for medium and small patterning that should help you get back on track.
