What does "yo twice" mean?

Help! I’m knitting a felted purse but don’t quite understand what they mean by “yo twice”. Any answers??

A yo is simply wrapping the yarn around the right needle without inserting the needle into a stitch on the left needle. YO twice is wrapping it around 2 times. When you come back to it again on the next row, you’ll probably be one knitting one of the YOs and dropping the othe one off the needle to create an elongated stitch.

wrap the yarn around once instead of twice xxx

I think you mean twice, instead of once…
