What does Work in pattern to last 11 stitches, K2tog, K1, (P1, K2) twice mean?

I get the part Work in pattern to last 11 stitches. But, I am not sure which part of the next part I am supposed to do twice. Is it the part in () only, or the whole thing, and no matter what it doesn’t add up to 11 stitches, so what do I do with the remaining stitches?

Thanks in advance!

When a pattern says twice or 3 times after sts in a () you just repeat those sts. Can you write the entire line, is there something that comes after that?

Yes, here it is: Decr row: Work in pattern to last 11 sts, K2tog, K1, (P1, K2) twice.

I thought it meant to just work the () stuff twice, but what then do I do with the left over stitches? Because it only adds up to 9 stitches.

What’s the pattern that it refers to by "Decr row: Work in pattern to last 11 st’ is what I meant? That helps a lot seeing what you’re supposed to be doing so that you end with 11 sts and you would only have 9.
