What does this want to be?

DM got me three skeins (324yds total) of this beautiful Cascade chunky baby alpaca. My poor photo skills don’t do it justice, the color is much richer than it looks here. It is a dark teal/black and very soft.

I’ve been to loads of websites, and scoured here and Ravelry, trying to find something other than a scarf or hat/mittens to make with this yarn, since I’ve just finished Silver’s palindrome scarf in nearly the same yarn.

Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It’s not your photo skills, it’s the way they make the cameras. The yarn is beautiful, but how many yards do you have? That way, Ingrid will know how much she’s lusting after. :teehee: :teehee:

I have 3 skeins, totaling 324 yds. Not enough for a throw. I suppose I could try to get more, but it’ll be a different dye lot…

seems I’m late in claiming this yarn as wanting to live with me :wink: So I would say a nice cowl or cape or shawl. You might surprise yourself in finding that same dyelot somewhere. I found some on ravelry once in someone’s stash and was able to procure some through a purchase. She didn’t want it I did, we made a bargain. Worked great. Search through ravelry to see if someone else has your yarn and dye lot and if they are wanting to sell it.
