s1, k1, psso is demonstrated in this video. It’s just as your directions tell you but sometimes it helps to actually see it done. Once you do that, bring the yarn to the front between the needles, then let the yarn go over the right needle (a yarn over) so that you have it in the correct position to knit the next 3sts.
This is a decrease and you can use ssk instead if you like. The yfwd is a YO to make up for the st that you lost with the skp, then k3.
