Do I just Yo, sl 1 until the last 2 sts where I would then [COLOR=“DarkOrange”]k tog the yo and next k sts of last row as 1 sts??[/COLOR]

You would Yo, sl 1, k tog the yo and next k st of last row as 1 st, until the end of the row. It appears from the directions that you won’t have any extra sts but will end with the end of the repeat. If there are supposed to be sts left over, the pattern would tell you how to work those sts.
