What does this mean?

Hi,

My pattern says: ending with a rs row.

Does this mean that when I am “done” I am looking at a rs row or have I “knitte/purled” the right side row and am now ready to begin the ws row?

MANY thanks!

It means the last row you work will be a right-side row. So if the pattern is stockinette, for example, the last row you work will be a knit row. When you finish that knit row, then you are done.

If your even numbered rows are wrong side rows & the odd numbered rows are right side rows then you end with an odd numbered row.

It means you’re done with the rs row and now will start on the ws row.

Thanks everyone!

Geez, all this time I thought it meant to end with a rib sandwich. No wonder I’ve been gaining weight.
