What does this mean?

My friend emailed me last night - she came to a step in her directions (KnitPicks Florida Tote) that stumped her and I’ve never seen it before.

Anyone know?

TIA!

You will knit the next stitch as usual but don’t slip the original stitch off the left needle yet. Now, bring your working yarn to the front and purl the same stitch, still not slipping the original stitch off the left needle. Bring the yarn to the back and knit the same stitch once more, then slip the original stitch off the left needle. You’ve made 3 stitches onto the right needle out of just 1 stitch - in other words, an increase of 2 stitches.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

This will help her get an XMAS gift done.
