When I am looking down the forum list within a specific forum, some of the letter icons to the left are moving…what does this mean?

If you look down at the bottom of any forum there’s a little legend that tells you what the symbols mean. The little boxes that move back and forth mean that the topic is ‘popular’, I think that means that it has 10 or more replies. The ones that are orange are ones that have received new replies since your last visit.
