When I look at page 3 of the pattern, for the picture showing back and front, why does it give two measurements for the width at the bottom of the sweater. (two seperate rings showing the sizes)
I want to know the finished size around the hip or wasit area, but they show two sizes. Any ideas?
It looks like the upper ring is the bust size and the lower ring is the hip size.

See on the diagram where the bodice decreases in size just before the armhole shaping?
From what I can see, that is the top rings measurements where you do the decrease rows after you’ve worked the bodice or bottom of the cardi. Just before you do the armhole shaping.
The bottom set of numbers are for the bottom circumference.
