What does the -b mean in these instructions?

I am making Camille Cowl Neck Shell from Adrienne Vittadini Spring 2006.

Back piece:
After doing the 2 bind off stitches to shape armhole the next row instructions are as follows. I am confused by the dash-b a the end of the row. What does that mean:

Row Instructions:
P2, p2tog,p to last 4 sts, p2tog-b, p2

Thanks in advance.

To me, it means purl through back loop.

That’s what I would think too, purl 2tog through the back loops… is there a glossary in the pattern, there usually is.

I agree, p2tog tbl is another way of writing it.

This instruction was not included in the pattern book glossary.

Thank you for the input. I’ll try it through the back loop.

Thanks again!

If that doesn’t work, go to Google, type in the word ‘errata’ and the name of the book or pattern. See if anything comes up about it.

Before I start anything anymore, I look for an errata sheet. Saves a lot of :?? or :hair: .
