I am knitting a Cow from the King Cole pattern and I am unfamilar with the term “Turn” . Help
It just means to put the needle with the stitches in your other hand start and work the other side. If you are in the middle of a row and it says this it means the same thing, but you’ll be working “short rows”. ![]()
If you include a link when asking questions it’ll help us help you, too.
Turn your work like you do at the end of a row. When it’s in a pattern and you’re not at the end of a row, turn it around anyway and you’re working short rows.
I found this forum because I have a pattern and didn’t know what “turn” was either. I am making baby booties and the pattern says to turn prior to the end of the row. My question is what do I do with the stitches that are remaining on the needle?
Just leave them there. Later on you’ll knit them, either all at once or one at a time; right know it’s like they’re on a stitch holder.
