What does ds set mean on Pattern

Hi

With 3mm (US 2) needles cast on 59(63:67:71:75:79) sts.

Moss st row K1, [p1, k1] to end.

Work a further 10 rows.

Next row Moss st 6, p to end.

Change to 3.25mm (US 3) needles.

Work in patt from Chart.

1st row (right side) Patt 53(57:61:65:69:73) from Chart, moss st 6.

2nd row Moss st 6, patt to end from Chart.

These 2 rows set the patt with moss st edge.

Work “ds set” to end of row 42.

The abbreviation is not explained on the pattern. When google ds - it means German double stitching which doesn’t make sense for this pattern.

Thank you for any help in advance.

What pattern are you using?

It looks like it could be a typo and intended to read, ‘work as set to end of row 42’.

As you are working from a chart you would continue with the chart and continue to place the moss stitches where they currently are as in rows 1 and 2.
