OK I checked the gauge before I started this and it is correct. The 40 rows the pattern gives is not the correct length. I only come out with 9" instead of the 11 1/2" it calls for. Can I keep repeating the pattern until I get the correct length before I start the sleeve increase? This would entail adding one more bow twist section of 20 rows. The picture of the finished sweater looks like it has a lot more than just the 2 sets of repeats. I have more than plenty of yarn so that will not be a problem.
