What decrease is on this picture?

I’m designing a soft toy and would like to use a decrease that looks like this in the image. Can someone please help this rookie as to the type of decrease I see there?! Thank you so much.

I think the second decrease in this video is what you’re looking for. Click on the blue 3:20 and it should take you to the place in the video she shows it. The whole video is worth watching IMO but I always like to cut to the chase.

Moderately leaning right dbl dec version 1 (ssk, return, pass over, slip): 3:20

I rotated the photo because looking at things upside down doesn’t work for me.

Thank you, I had a look and this is definitely what I’m looking for. I appreciate being introduced to the video channel. It will be so helpful. You surely seem like a very helpful Gramma too

You’re welcome and thank you. I’m glad I could help. Roxanne has lots of good videos. Suzanne Bryan is another master knitter who has videos I find helpful.

I had to mark the stitches in alternating rows by color. Now it seems to me to be [Edit] single decreases on two consecutive rows.

[Edit to] Including my marked up image.

Do you mean it’s a decrease of one on the purl side then another on the knit side? I’m still inclined to think it’s a double decrease on the knit side but I’ve been wrong at least once :face_with_raised_eyebrow: before. Maybe someone else will weigh in. @salmonmac? @Creations? someone else?

You could probably do it either way but it does look like 2 separate decreases on consecutive rows.

Thank you, I think I will knit a swatch and try both methods. So grateful for your help.

God bless you
