It’s the first time I’ve been a knitter in a LYS and a yarn “called” to me. I’ve heard others on this forum talk about it, but never had it happen until yesterday. I saw this yarn, and I HAVE to have it–what can I do with it? 
I’d be willing to buy another hank or two to keep it company if a project required it. :twisted:
How is 100% silk to knit with?
I’ve used this yarn to make a bag and to accent a sweater - it was a bit rough to be used on its own. Your choice is REALLY BEAUTIFUL! Congrats on the find!
chick, the LYS recommended that you carry “Springy Capelli”, a 68% acrylic, 28% nylon, 4% spandex yarn along with this yarn so the finished product has some stretch to it. Would carrying this other synthetic yarn make knitting the silk yarn a bit easier do you think? I’m thinking that 100% silk must be slippery. :shrug:
