What age is good?

What age is good for starting knitting?
I was thinking about starting knitting and I have been learning
the basics but I was wondering what age is good to start knitting

If you can safely handle the needles, you’re old enough. Go for it.

If you have the hand-eye coordination to type, and you can handle the needles, you can knit. I’ve known people who learned when they were as young as four and at least one who didn’t learn till she was 80.

When you get the basic stitches down, look into some of the other styles of knitting before you get too set in your ways. If you know both the English and Continental methods, things will be easier for you and you’ll have less hand strain over the years because you can change if your hands get tired.

This is a good time to learn to crochet, too!
