As far as Disneyland, that was me who was supposed to cast on.

I had emailed the gal who designed the Olympic KAL dishcloth to see if she could design something that said Disney for me to knit up, but I think she got busy and never got around to it.

I’ll try to get that cast on this week…gotta buy some more needles. Did we decide to use primary colors for it? Y’all tell me what you think.

I remembered having some red and dig a bit of digging. Voila! I found it! I think it’s either Hobby Lobby’s I Love this Yarn or Caron Simply Soft. I’ve lost the label somewhere along the way.

I’ll try to cast on tomorrow. My hands should be recovered from the three hours I put in today working on the yard.

my 2 cents is the black would work best as the border. I wonder if we could come up with a border that looks like mouse ears.

I finished up California Coast and sent it on to kaniger yesterday.

Okay! Tropical Plantation is to be a preemie blanket. I’m still swatching and will cast on this week.

I like the simplicity of California Coast – kind of contradictory of the actual place.

Well, all I needed was a little kick in the bootie. I worked on Disney Land yesterday and finished up last night while watching NASCAR.

I used I Love This Yarn, and the color is Red (duh…heeheehee). I found [COLOR=Blue][B]this[/B][/COLOR] pattern, which I adapted for the blanket. What I did was cast on 90 stitches and knit 25 on each side. Then, I worked the pattern in the 40 stitches in-between. I completed rows 1-39 and then finished off so that a knit row will face the next knitter, who will start on a right side. On that last row, I also started the three knit stitches on each side…for the border.

Hope I haven’t confused anyone. :teehee:
