I am currently stuck on the heel of my sock. This is my second time around knitting the heel and I have no clue where I’ve gone wrong. Side note! This is my first time knitting socks.
To start the heel you knit until there are 10sts remaining on the left needle. These are unworked sts. Then work the decrease and turn, On row 2, purl until there are 10sts unworked on the left needle then decrease and turn.
Each time you work a row from now on, you’ll be working to one stitch before a gap, decreasing by knitting or purling together the stitch before and the stitch after the gap. The number of sts unworked after the turn will decrease as more rows are knit or purled.
