Got lazy and didn’t check the length of my sock. I started the decrease at the top of my little toe instead of at the bottom, and now the toe is too long. Do I really have to tink back all those teeny stitches? Sigh…

Sorry, I can’t find what I was looking for. You might prefer to frog rather than cut the sock above the toe, knit some rounds on the foot and then graft it all together. I can’t think what to search on right now. At least your cast on isn’t too tight. That would be awful.
ETA I just realized…you don’t need to add rounds you need to subtract them so you’d remove some and then graft together. Sorry 'bout that.

You’re making these socks cuff down? If so, it’s the toe that needs to be taken out and some rows of the foot? I’d say the fastest and neatest solution is to rip out the toe and extra rows then tink the last row as you put the sts back onto a needle.
