Weaving

HELLO ALL!
I have a question about weaving at the end of a project.
Once everything is done and you’ve spent hours knitting a great project and are ready to weave, can I trust just the weaving alone, or do you suggest knotting the end tail into the work somehow as well? I have always had issues with this topic and have always knotted into the project after weaving, but I don’t particulary like a big old KNOT inside my sweater poking at me or popping out the front of my work…ideas, suggestions??

I don’t knot anything. So far any ends that I’ve woven in have stayed put.

Like Jan…I’ve never had a problem after weaving in the ends and I’ve never put in a know. Just make sure you weave in over 3-4 or more stitches and you shouldn’t have a problem.

Try looking around here http://techknitting.blogspot.com/2007/05/easier-way-to-kitchener-stitch-also.html maybe you’ll get some ideas…
