Find your gauge, pick your size, and you’re good to go!

whoa thats a lot of math!

That’s what I thought the first time I saw this site, but if you try it out, it makes sense.

have you ever made this before??? if so can you post pictures so i could see how it looks??

I used the basic measurements on that site to make this hat–basically one hat knit with a provisional cast on, then I flipped it over and knit another hat attached to it. One fits in the other. Kelly’s done this too, and it makes a nice double thick hat–maybe perfect for your trip. You push one up inside the other and attach at the top.

I made this hat with the pattern and am working on another like the one Ingrid posted. Don’t let the math part intimidate you.

That’s one handsome looking hat.

Jan, yes I love your hat-what yarn is that?

Those douible knit hats are cool, too. Too bad it doesn’t get could enough here to need one. It’s supposed to be 78 degrees today. Sigh. I want a real winter!

Thanks Joe and Hilary! I use Lion Brand Wool-Ease yarn. I “think” the color was called dark rose heather, but I’m not positive.

Thanks, I might actually be able to find that, lol!

Ditto! I havent gotten around to working on ANY winter stuff because it’s been in the 80s here…hurrumph. Good luck with the hat!

You live in SOUTH TEXAS!!! If you want a ‘real winter’ you’re gonna have to move, honey! :roflhard:

Thanks very much for sharing with us. Love seeing the picture. That was
great!

LOL. Ingrid, you’re right, but darn it it’s not up to me-wah!!

Hope i spelled your name correctly. The tote bag i made , i made a
scraf and hat to match. Only my tote bag is for picking up my
dog deposits, when we take a walk together.
Are you referring to this.
