Wanted: Noro Cornelia Tuttle Hamilton bk 2

I would really love some help finding this book or the pattern for “Klaralund.” I saw it on Ravelry and fell. in. LOVE. :inlove:

The book seems to be impossible to find, and I did find CTH’s website, but I don’t know how a US person could buy the pattern or anything else on there. Help would be greatly appreciated!

Your photo was WAY too large so I resized it. Click the link my sig for photo sizes and posting info.

I understand the book has been discontinued for some reason. It might be hard for someone to give it up for that reason, too. I searched and found a few places you can check to see if they still have it.

The pattern is sooo simple, 2 squares and a rectangle sewn together. Or you can knit the sleeve and join them then pick up sts for the body. There’s a yahoo group (which hasn’t had a post in about 2 years that isn’t spam) and between the older ones and the errata for the pattern, I figured it out. Let me know if you want my version.

WEBS also has a very similar pattern that’s only $1.99 - the Portland Sweater, and the only difference is using ribs of rev stockinette on the shoulders instead of an extended garter stitch. I think I may make another one with that variation.

I have your instructions Sue, but like this one, too so I just bought the Portland Sweater.

I thought I had shared them with someone here. Amber is welcome to have them as well.

Sorry about the pic, Jan - I had another forum in mind and thought that it would be auto-sized down. :aww:

Sue, I PMed you! Otherwise, I’ll try the other 2 stores on Jan’s list. I’d already tried to add it to my cart at A Good Yarn and a few other stores with no luck.

It does auto size visually, but the file size is still huge. It can also still make the forum wonky from the size when it loads. :teehee:

Try janettesrareyarns.co.uk

She carries the Harding yarns and at least some of the books, and is extremely nice to deal with.

The book also shows up frequently on eBay. That’s where I got my copy. (Search “knitting book” - no quotes – rather than “knitting books” and you’ll get a much larger list.)
