W.o.n.?

This is from a pattern from the 40s…this is the first row instruction:

*K2tog, W.O.N. (thus making a st), repeat

Is W.O.N. just a yarn over?

Thanks,
Erin

I’m pretty sure it is. I’m pretty sure it stands for “wool on needle.”

Yep :slight_smile:

WON=wool over needle

Yep, wool/yarn over needle.

Thanks y’all!
