Hello I have converted a pattern from flat to round. The pattern uses a 12 stitch repeat pattern. The sleeve has an increase of 2 stitches each side 13x every 4th row how do I work this into the motif pattern? I cast on 36 so the pattern repeats by 12 stitches. How do I increase to stay in the motif pattern?!
I would increase two stitches on the inside of the arm, two stitches next to each other, then continue in the pattern when you have enough stitches.

You won’t be able to work a complete repeat of the pattern but you’ll add two sts on each side with each increase row. Work those sts in the pattern as though you were beginning a new repeat at one edge and ending a repeat on the other edge. (I realize that you won’t have “edges” in the round but you’ll have sts either side of a center marker.) Eventually you’ll have enough for a full repeat and then begin another repeat on each side.
