I’m about to start on this twinset for my mother (Vogue Knitting Holiday 2006, pattern #14), but there’s one thing I’m not seeing…it calls for using size 4 and size 6 needles, but I don’t see any mention in the pattern of using the size 6 needles.
Should I assume that all of the “non-ribbing” parts of the twinset are done in size 6? :??
I’m not seeing clarifications about this on the VK “corrections” page either.
As I read this it tell you to cast on with the smaller needles(4). Do the ribbing. The other reference to the larger needles is under gauge–"…all chart pats using larger needles(6) So I would assume that when you are at the Beg chart 1 (row 3) you would switch to 6’s.
