Sometimes I shoot some video footage while trucking. It’s pretty boring stuff really, just my view from the wheel of my big rig, but some people enjoy them so I thought I’d share the latest batch with y’all.
Thanks, Mason for sharing the video. Took me back 28 years to when I used to go with my dad when he made deliveries for the local poultry plant.
That’s awesome, I’ve always wondered what it would be like to drive a big truck, though, I could never do it…lol…I hate driving in bad weather and it sure looks like you get stuck in some crappy weather!
LOVE the Betty Boop bobble! I can’t get mine to stay on the dash, the tape is all crappy now and she keeps falling off…lol
auntcrafty; I’m glad you enjoyed them.
Demonica; velcro is your friend. I didn’t use the tape that came with Betty, I used a self-gluing velcro pad.
Thanks Mason. Made me think of the year dh and I traveled over the USA and a little in Canada in our motor home. I made a few of these video’s to send back to our family. I too love the Betty Boop. My dd’s name is Betty and she loves her too. I see yours is a Cute little Devil. :roflhard::roflhard:
Thank you, I live in NYC and never get to see that stuff!
Great videos!! And, yes, you’re right. The scenery in TN is much better!! DH and I were in Gatlinburg for our honeymoon 9 years ago, and it was absolutely beautiful!!
BTW, you sound just as I had imagined. Very deep, masculine voice.
Stacy
Now that was interesting! I’ve never seen that part of the country. It’s certainly flat! I didn’t know there were so many rules like that. It seems here in CA we see trucks on the road 24/7.
You look like such a tough guy, but we know the truth…you’re a big softy!
Clearly you’ve accidently left out the footage of the SUV/minivan crammed to the gills with six people in it who changed lanes in front you with only three feet of space between your bumper and their back end then proceeded to hit the brakes. :roflhard:
I just rolled home from Gatlinburg, TN to Tampa on Sunday, 11 hours of rain. I wouldn’t want to drive a big rig through it. Thankfully, DH used to so I designate him the driver. :teehee:
Oh yeah, those chicken trucks are NASTY when you get behind one on a motorcycle! :roflhard:
Geez Mason, you’re making me ‘road’ sick. I’d love to be driving again!!! Only got to do it for about six months total, legally that is, but if DH could go out, I’d love it.
I don’t miss all the rules every state has, or Donner’s Pass in the winter and spring, or Chicago any time.
Have you ever seen that Wild Bird Reserve in Nebraska? That is a site to behold, especially in the spring: a woman who worked there told us we had passed by, or been overflown by a half million birds.
Keep them coming . . . and thank you!
Sure love your “devil” :teehee:
I concur!!
That’s the great thing about this country, you have just about every kind of land imaginable out here.
I didn’t know there were so many rules like that. It seems here in CA we see trucks on the road 24/7.
Typically trucks can run any time of day. When hauling over sized loads though you are normally not allowed to run after dark for safety reasons. Some dummy might run into the overhang.
What’s crazy is I always have to make sure I sign my over size permits in the right color ink. Some states require blue, some red, some black, and at least one I know of requires green. It’s nuts.
You look like such a tough guy, but we know the truth…you’re a big softy!
Shhhhhhhhhhhh

Yep, I know exactly where you’re talking about.
These are great! I always secretly wanted to live this life… I’m vertically challenged and could never drive a big rig but what a way to see this country…
Mix tape or radio station? Great music!
Awesom tats too!
Thanks for sharing these!
Mason (Insert middle name) (Insert last name)!!! You smoke!?!?!? I’m so disappointed in you! :tap:
Nobody’s perfekt
But you look like you take fairly good care of yourself, so I was just surprised I guess.
:noway: That is probably one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard. And green?? I hope they provide pens. Most of us have a blue and black and maybe a red one, but green??
Time to get one of these … 4-in-1 pens… blue, black, red & GREEN
