She should be so proud of that scarf! it is gorgeous!!
What a beautiful job!! And she does a lovely job modeling it, too.
She did such a great job. I just love the look on her face in that picture. Such a look of pride for a job well done.
I’d love to teach DH’s granddaughter how to knit, but right now, she has the attention span of a gnat. Maybe when she gets a little older…
You did an exceptional job darling and WTG mom teaching her to knit young!
That’s so awesome! Another knitter!!! YAY!!! She should be very proud of herself, as I’m sure you are too! That’s so great to be able to pass such a great gift as knitting down to her! :cheering: :cheering: :cheering:
cute. that looks like a fun yarn to work with.
my 8yo tried and tried to learn to knit
she has a single hat on addi turbos and HATES it, complains every time she has to knit a SINGLE STITCH
but she turned 9 last month
now she is helping me knit Chemo caps
and she is doing GREAT, and seems to like it
and takes pride in the stitches she has done, and that we cannot tell wich stitches she did in comparison to the ones i did
I M so prooud
That’s awesome! Sometimes it just takes a little while for it to “click”. I know I learned when I was around 12, but didn’t stick with it. Then I just picked it up again three years ago and now I can’t stop! It was a LONG time before I started knitting again btw, but I have always crocheted.
Hope she keeps it up!
Thank you all for the encouragement!I had a lot of fun making it. :cheering: I’m going to knit another scarf next. What other things should I knit?
