I am totally stuck on line 74 of their chart. I am a beginner knitter and probably shouldn’t have tried to do this sweater, but I feel in love with it.

Line 74 has a triangle with a tiny number 4 in a box…it sits over the line below with has 3 pearl stitches. I totally can’t understand what I am suppose to do after line 72…Is anyone familiar with this pattern? I would totally hug anyone who could explain it to me!

There should be a legend with the chart explaining exactly what each symbol means. Can you find it?

Usually it’s a decrease of 4sts to one stitch (3sts decreased) but as GG mentioned, the legend should give the exact definition for your pattern and chart. Somewhere there are probably also instructions for how to do the decrease.
