I am knitting a baby blanket with a garter stitch border , I am over half way done and noticed I made a mistake in the border about 25 rows back . Rather than unravel it I was wondering if there is a way to fix or make it look better . What I did was purl a row instead of knit so you know how it looks . Hope some one can help !
You can knit over to the column with the mistake, drop down to the error, correct it and ladder back up. Depending on how many sts are in the border you might want to do this one or two sts at a time. But, that said, the edge sts are a bit more of a problem to correct. Here’s one way and you can decide whether it’s worth it.
It’s also ok to consider this error part of hand crafting and leave it as is.

Thanks for your suggestion however I don’t think its possable as there are to many rows .
It is a lot of rows. I’m pretty compulsive about correcting mistakes but I’d let this one stay as is.
