Using more than one color

I have a question… I make scarfs and I make them different colors is there a way to make them where bots sides look the same?

You could make them in the round, or knit them double-wide and seam up the long end when you’re done.

Maybe I don’t quite understand the question, but wouldn’t garter stitch (on straight needles) look the same on both sides, regardless of color changes?

With garter stitch, the changes will show as dashed bits of the old color with the new color. Ribbing does the same thing.

I was imagining intarsia or fair isle when she said different colors.

There’s no way to avoid the dreaded purl bump of a different color, though.

It’s just something you learn to accept with knitting.
