I HAVE A PATTERN THAT SAYS LEAVE THE LAST STITCH UNWORKED. HOW? I TRIED EVERYTHING I KNOW AND END UP WITH WRONG AMOUNT OF STITCHES. PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME.[/b]
It probably means just to slip it from the left needle to the right, without knitting it.
I had this same dilema, and figured out you are to leave the stated amount of “unworked stitch(es)” on your right hand needle…then TURN your work, and start working your next row.
When you come back to those “unworked stitch(es)” they should be accounted for in that new rows count.
