Unsuspecting DH leaves DW alone in yarn shop for an hour

Actually, he had a pretty good idea what was gonna happen.

It seems every time I find a yarn shop that has what I like, they close.
I wasn’t going to wait for the left overs at the end of the month at Quietly Wild, not being assured of getting enough of a dyelot.

I think I’m set for the rest of my life.

:inlove: :inlove: I want to reach into the screen and squish it!

Ingrid, it is sooooo squishable!

I have to be able to touch the yarn I buy.
It is so hard to find nice baby yarns.
I guess I’m just not hep enough for the new, modern, trendy yarns.
I guess “hep” pretty much says how hep I am. :roflhard:

me too! It looks so wonderfully squishy!

Look at all the purty yarn!

I can’t tell from the label what the brand is though… what kind is it?

Dig it! :sunglasses:

:roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard:

I kin dig it! :eyebrow:

Except for 3 skeins of multi color Plymouth Dream Baby, it’s Wendy D.K.
The baby yarn is called Peter Pan.

:inlove:

Nice score! Love it!

I read the title and just had to laugh… :rofling:
Congratulations on your restraint

I think I’m set for the rest of my life.

If your knitting habits are anything like everyone else on this board this lovely stash should last you until exactly Memorial day :rofling:
:XX: :XX: :XX:

:roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard: I probably put in at least as much time knitting as most do here
(the depth of dust at my house would attest to that), but I knit really slow.
Knitting as fast as I once did, causes me orthopedic problems.

I laughed at the title of your post because it reminded very much of my mother! She has enough yarn in her stash to open her own store and just can’t resist buying yarn when she goes to Michael’s or JoAnn’s or more recently, the LYS. My dad doesn’t say anything anymore. just goes along with it. :roflhard:

Men do catch on…
after about the age of 50. :roflhard: :roflhard: :roflhard:

Nice stash!! Wanna share?? :eyebrow: :rofling:

:rofling: :roflhard:

:drooling: Yummy colors. What ya’ gonna make?

:roflhard: That remains to be seen.
Right now it looks like I should knit a rainbow.

Quote yellow_vw_beetle: Nice stash!! Wanna share??

I tell my “knitting daughter”, Thou shalt not covet thy mother’s yarn." :rofling:

Lana, I’m right there with you! The LYS in my town is closing and I am having to restrain myself from making daily trips over there-------just to see what is left, or more likely, what others bought that I should have.

You made great choices! Happy knitting!

I can’t wait to sink my needles into that yarn. But I have to finish my “not lovin’ it” project first, or it will never be finished.

We have to drive into Chicago today.
We pass 3 Hobby Lobby’s en route.

Either I better fall asleep, or we better take the long way home. :roflhard:
