Unpurling on German short row

Hi everyone - I was unpurling on WS for my German short row up until just before the DS but my working yarn ended on the left side and Im not sure how to keep unpurling because it’s just undoing the stitches on the left needle. Would appreciate any help!!

It looks like you may have come to a turn whether planned or in error. The yarn is now coming from the left needle so if you need to continue, you’ll need to switch the needles in your hands and continue unknitting the knit row. That will either bring you to another turn or to the end of row. Once there you can turn and continue unpurling up to your circled DS.

Question: is “unpurling” to undo purl stitches or is it a technique?

Like tinking? but lruping?

I meant tinking, sorry if I didnt use the correct term I am a noob knitter!

Thank you for replying! I think I sorted my issue, I actually undid my double stitch without realising because the number of double stitches didn’t match to the pattern. So I just continued knitting RS before I turned the work over

Oh great. I hope you’re on your way. Sometimes I put a marker on or below a ds as a reminder. Have fun with your project!

I always have to put a marker at each turn, or I just miss it somehow on the way back. You would think I could SEE the double stitch, but not always!
