Unknown stitch

In pattern for a new cowl I was instructed to (C2F). Please explain what this means. Thanks in advance.

Cable 2 front. What pattern and doesn’t it give instructions? They usually do for special stitches.

Cable 2 front, like a left twist. Knit into the 2nd st on the left needle, leave it there, then knit into the first st and let them both off the needle.
