Understanding pattern instructions

Hi, I’m having difficulty understanding the second part of the following instructions: "inc 1 st at each end of 5th [3rd;5th;3rd] and 0 [0;0;2] foll 4th rows, then on 7[10;10;9] foll 6th rows, then on 2 [0; 0; 0;] foll 8th rows. Can you help?!!
Thanks, Hilary M

Welcome to the forum!
What is the name of your pattern and which size are you making?
Any instruction with a 0 can be skipped. So for the smallest size the directions become:
“inc 1 st at each end of 5th, then on 7foll 6th rows, then on 2 foll 8th rows”

Got it! Thanks so much. You can tell I’m a knitting rookie but I’m really enjoying my first project.

We’re always happy to have both rookies and very experienced knitters asking questions. You can learn from each one. Enjoy working your pattern!
