Understanding a pattern

I have a pattern that I’m not understanding,it states: *K11 sts,PM,rep from

  • to end of row…does this mean to pm every 11th stitch,or after the 11 sts pm the knit till end of row? because next row saids knit to 2 sts before marker,k2tog,rep from

HELP PLEASE…I’m new at this

whenever it says repeat from * you do everything between the two stars until the end of the row. just do exactly what it says.

first row Knit 11 place marker knit 11 place marker until the end of row.
next row, if i am doing my math right it is knit 9 knit two together, slip your marker to the other needle, knit 9 knit 2 together slip the marker etc until the end of the row.
